Abstract :
Application of AT89S8252 micro-controller in modern RF devices is considered. As an example, a simple RF spectrum analyzer with digital PLL heterodyne is examined. The block-circuit realization of the device in which the given microcontroller is applied is presented. The main advantages of the device are it´s small dimensions and portability. Implementation of digital PLL heterodyne gives high frequency accuracy and simple control abilities.
