Abstract :
Long-range and short-range surface plasmon resonance has been discussed for mono and bi-metallic coupled plasmonic structures. Reflectivity and field enhancement plots with simultaneous angular and wavelength interrogation along with the two dimensional (2D) contour plots provide significant information about the resonance phenomena in these two cases. Moreover, substrate and sample dependency help to choose the correct layer parameters for designing a nanoplasmonic sensor.
