Abstract :
Embedded GIS is the basic platform of the remotion geographic information service, and it is one of the critical technologies to accomplish the real time display when the resource of platform is limited. Basing on the contrastingly analyzing of the current display technology of the geographic information, and combining with the demanding of our project, the paper presents a real-time display technology of map which is basing on task scheduling, and realizes the real time display of the images and series-scale vector maps on two kinds of embedded platform whose core is ARM, it costs less than 1 second to browse the maps and it could satisfy the demand of practical application.
