Abstract :
In this paper the quasi-modes transmission line model is used to observe the influence of considering a more accurate representation of the earth conductivity and permittivity. For an actual 440 kV three-phase transmission line the soil behavior is represented through a unique real value of conductance and through a more accurate model, considering its electromagnetic behavior
