Abstract :
In the given work the constraining factors of development of modern microelectronics in Europe are considered. The shortage of the skilled specialists and low level of interest in technical specialities at the young people are defined as the basic problems. The actions undertaken by the employees of the VSU for stimulation of a level of interest in modern technologies among the schoolboys are described.
