Abstract :
This study reports sub-watt power at 638 nm from Pr:WPFGF laser excited by polarization combined GaN laser diodes .The input-output characteristics was measured until the pump powers of 1,695 mW. The threshold power was 172.8 mW and the maximum output power of 645.7 mW was obtained at the excitation power of 1,695 mW.
