Abstract
The digital measurement is a key technology for Reverse Engineering (RE). Stereo vision method, in which images are obtained from calibrated cameras, has been being a popular method. In this paper, a binocular vision system with only one camera is proposed as an alternative for measuring three-dimensional(3-D) objects, and corresponding calibration method of the camera is also proposed. At the same time, Auxiliary lattice grating was used as matching element so that feature points can be determined through an efficient searching and matching procedure. The experimental results show that proposed approach is feasible, and can be served as a basis for further analysis and extended applications.
