Abstract :
Adopting sustainable development as the general guiding principle, it analyzes industrial design solutions in eco-society construction; and combining the environment and resources protection issues, it explores the general design concept¿s feasibility, advantages and specific patterns of expression in terms of the ageing of the society, effective use of resources, appropriate consumption and enterprise brand strategy, etc. Then focusing on the products fields suitable for universal design and the behavior features of the corresponding population, it studies universal design principles of sharing products for family members, public facilities and recycling in different areas. Through the analysis on the typical cases that universal design models improve efficient use of resources and environment protection, it proposes universal design framework focusing on environmentally friendly principles of long-term use, high quality, functional integration, miniaturization and harmlessness. Thus, the system research of industrial design methodology in sustainable social development and environment protection is enriched.
