  • Abstract
This paper presents a method for searching the Web for significant collocations related to each sense of a given polysemic word. These collocations are expressed as recurrent word sequences indicating a specific meaning of the given word. We present the preliminary results for a set of three polysemic words. The results indicate that making sense out of the Web is possible and that the discovered collocations could be useful for the word sense disambiguation task.
