Abstract :
This paper gave a review of building extraction methods using high-resolution images, and introduced three methods in detail. The comparison of extraction results are taken from two aspects, which are overall accuracy and extraction rate. It is reported that the building extraction based on Dempster-Shafer theory is the most robust method, because it can receive high accuracy in those two aspects.
