Abstract :
A planar printed internal antenna comprises a folding driven strip and a shorted strip. To achieve a wider bandwidth at the lower frequency, a lumped element has been embedded in the driven strip. The ground plane of the antenna is designed to add a protruded portion in order to achieve wider bandwidth. This antenna, whose size is 15×60mm2, supports LTE/GSM/UMTS bands including LTE700/GSM850/1800/1900/UMTS/LTE2300 for six-band operations.
