Abstract :
In this work, the application of Extraordinary Transmission properties is analyzed in order to implement practical devices within the millimeter wave band. By stacking texturized metallic layers, it is possible to engineer values of index of refraction and hence different types of devices, such as polarizers, lenses and frequency and polarization dependent multiplexers and demultiplexers. Moreover, the designs can be successfully scaled to other frequency ranges, such as infrared or optical wavelengths.
