  • Abstract
The traditional prestressed reinforcement arrangement is based on the slab-column structure, which is in parallel with the axis of column and divides the slab into column strips and floor strips in midspan. 75 percents of prestressed reinforcement is arranged in the column strips which means the column strips act as the beams in the beam-column systems. This arrangement has specific transfer path, but the transfer path isn´t the shortest. According to the shortest path principle, this paper arranges the prestressed reinforcement along the diagonal. And two model experiments of one-slab-four-column and four-slab-nine-column are conducted to research the force characteristics of the slab with prestressed reinforcing bars along diagonal. Compared with the traditional prestressed reinforcement arrangement, arranging prestressed reinforcing bars along diagonal can have a better control of the deflection, save the amount of the prestressed reinforcing bars, and better exert the action of the prestressed reinforcement.
