Abstract :
This paper presents the technical market requirements and the proposed solution of voltage sag mitigation. The presentation refers to an installed system commissioned in 1998 and the discussion with several customers for future installations. The installed DVR compensates a sag duration of up to 150 milliseconds on a 4.0 MVA load single and three phase voltage sags of 50 percent and 38 percent, respectively
