Abstract :
This paper is essentially divided into two. The subject “continuous vacuum preparation” presents a new development that allows complete degassing of cast resin in a single passage for further processing under vacuum. The equipment can be used for both low-viscous and extremely high-viscous cast resin. In the automatic pressure gelation process for the production of insulating parts for the electric industry, the additional preheating of the cast resin compound allowed a major reduction of cycle times by up to 50% to be achieved. New developments in the equipment range for the application of this process by a DUO pressure accumulator and ultra-fast-compound (UFC) heater is explained in detail and examples are given
