Abstract
This paper works over geometrical mean distance (GMD) between rectangular cells, between rectangular and line cells, and between line cells. Then, a magnetic PEEL (MagPEEC) modeling technique based on GMD is provided. Firstly, the formulae of average tangent magnetic flux density (TMFD) are concluded. Secondly, the coupling coefficient matrix between the surface magnetized currents and the conductive currents has been deduced. Thus, the system equation expressed only with conductive currents is obtained. Finally, the DM loop coupling experiments of large steel plate are carried out to validate the novel MagPEEC modeling technique.
