Abstract :
The keys of product development are how to distinguish the optimal designs from the bad designs at the early design stage and how to reduce the iterative error rate. Hence the evaluation method for product design schemes is important for decision making in the design process. Using the information axiom of axiomatic design, this paper combines analytic hierarchy process with fuzzy evaluation. Taking Haier U-home products as an example, this paper makes up the evaluation index of products by product¿s four elements, and also concludes the index information calculation formula based on information axiom. It comprehensive considerate the weight of various indexes and supply gives the calculation formulae of information content of evaluation indexes and the evaluation and decision making method for design schemes. So that it can provide a scientific decision basis and get a good foundation for the automation process of product design.
