  • Abstract
    In a pilot-scale study on anaerobic UASB and anoxia CBR and two-stage aerobic CBR treatment of coal gasification wastewater, the effect of removal of COD and ammonia nitrogen was examined. The results show that this combination process has characters of short HRT, high volume loading, strong resistance to organic shock loads, stable effluent, and high removal rate (above 95%) of main pollutants.
