Abstract :
In this paper, a novel duty-cycle modulation technique applied to a single-switch three-phase boost rectifier is proposed. In contrast to previous solutions that obtain the duty-cycle modulation via the sum of the voltage control loop output and the modulation function, the proposed technique derives the duty-cycle modulation as the product of these signals. In this way, the low-order harmonic content can be kept nearly constant irrespective of load levels. Experimental results are provided to confirm the validity of this methodology
