Abstract
Different accumulators and pulse energy sources are used for electrophysical installations supply and provision of proper process. It is very promising to use electromachine inductor-compression disk-type generators to provide instant charge of capacity banks in the supply system of high-voltage installations. Such supply sources should meet particular requirements according to pulsewidth (10-4-10-3 s), voltage (104-105 V). The authors have designed, manufactured and tested an inductor-compression generator. The design peculiarity of the proposed generator allows to make main junctions and components of electroinsulating materials. It allows to markedly increase output generator voltage without deteriorating specific energetic characteristics. The electric machine generator runs as an inductor synchronous generator, the performance principle being based on the permeance periodic change of working gap during rotor rotation. The generator runs at periodic duty. When changing the law of commutator control and rotor rotating frequency one can regulate frequency and pulse ratio of pulse generation in the load. For calculation of generator parameters and energetic characteristics the mathematical model has been developed. As a result of calculation experiments the area of preferential generator application and load parameters have been determined. Experimental research of generator test sample has confirmed the calculation results
