Abstract
A technique for finding the steady-state response of nonlinear microwave circuits is presented. Although exact in all cases for which Harmonic-Balance Techniques (HBTs) are exact, its formulation permits a somewhat easier implementation and does not require the use of Discrete Fourier Transforms (DFTs). The technique takes an interesting form when the nonlinear block-SOR method is used to solve the resulting nonlinear system of equations. Stability conditions for this situation are given together with examples of its application.
