Abstract
A new powerful technique has been developed for simulating non-linear microwave networks. Switched capacitor (SC) circuits are used to simulate linear and non-linear elements and the method gives a considerable advantage over digital computer simulation. Once the simulated circuit is constructed the response is measured instantaneously. The circuit can be tuned or optimised in real time again with instantaneous response. In general, this form of simulation is much closer to the physical circuit than computer simulation.
