Abstract :
In the paper, the expressive forms and the one domain and cross domain evolution technology of industrial design knowledge are presented. The main works are about how to compile the predicates and terms of first order logic (FOL) as the expressive forms, establish the mappings between domains, knowledge parameters ( the predicates and terms) and the knowledge, the correlations between the two knowledge domains in order to navigate cross-domain evolution of the knowledge; recombine gene of coded knowledge in FOL to fulfill one-domain- evolution; integrate the above mentioned technologies. The core principles and the data-flow-chart for an application system fulfilling the works are given.
