Abstract :
Considering the complexity of modeling locomotive braking system, an approach of constructing the T-S model based on coevolutionary optimization algorithm is proposed. The approach employs the fuzzy clustering algorithm to identify the initial fuzzy system. And considering both the precision and the celerity in a practical project, the structure and parameters of the fuzzy system are optimized by a coevolutionary algorithm. The approach reduces the structure of the model as well as ensures the accuracy of model. The performance of the proposed method is validated by modeling and simulating of the locomotive braking system.
