Abstract
The creativity or mediating process, including a creativity or mediating deadlock to success, is shown on three levels: a non-decomposed association level, a decomposed association level, and a leaped association level. An illustration of each level is developed both of the creation of the product and the success of negotiation or group decision-making. In relation to conceiving ideas and group decision-making, the method of Ideal Solution Of Problems (ISOP) by computers on a group basis is introduced. Its fundamental concepts, structure and information processing procedure are explained. Illustrations, both in a general and a specific context, are given in order to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of ISOP and the group decision and negotiation support systems. In particular, two experiments which examine group decision-making as compared with individual decision-making, are highlighted. Concluding perspectives on balancing the future research needs for technical findings and the findings in sociological and behavioral analyses on cooperation, coordination, confrontation, and control are included.<>
