Abstract :
Duration analysis is one of the most important steps of the overall traffic incident management process. Based on the survey data on traffic incident information, this paper developed the Hazard duration model, and analyzed the statistical indicators and key factors of incident duration by using the theory of Hazard function. The results indicate that the Hazard duration model can be used for traffic incident duration analysis. The results of this paper can help the government to analyze traffic incident duration and provide decision method for the government to make real-time decisions and conduct incident management.
