Performance of Absorbers and Anechoic Chambers at 110 GHz and 183 GHz

Abstract :
Three anechoic chambers and several different types of absorber panels have been measured at 110 and 183 GHz. Typical sidewall reflectivity levels of anechoic chambers are about ¿60 dB at 110 GHz and ¿50 dB at 183 GHz measured with 20 dB horns. Backwall reflectivity levels are about ¿35 dB at 110 GHz and ¿25 dB at 183 GHz. The best absorbers have a reflectivity of about ¿43 dB at 107 GHz and ¿35 dB at 183 GHz.
