Summary form only given. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a new imaging modality which generates cross-sectional and 3D images of tissue pathology. OCT utilizes advanced photonics technologies and has clinical applications ranging from ophthalmology to cardiology. This tutorial describes OCT technology and applications.
