Abstract :
Authors have developed high voltage switching tubes with electron beam deceleration at anode named an electron beam valve (EBV). The researchers of EBV performances have shown advantages of such devices in comparison with tetrodes of traditional construction. The EBV is intended to switch and to stabilize current at high voltage power supply systems used in radioelectronics, high-current accelerators etc. in continuous operation mode or pulse-frequency operation mode with high average power output.
