Abstract :
Gyrodevices have shown high efficiency of interaction between monohelical electron beam at high harmonics electron cyclotron frequency and RF field of magnetron-type waveguide. Utilization of permanent magnet focusing system instead of superconducting and resistive solenoids would allow essential improvement of these type devices technical parameters. It requires application of new type electron-optical system, electron gun and collector. These components are determined by the demands of the reverse magnetic field on poles and nonadiabatic compression area. The application of traditional magnetron injection gun in permanent magnet system is extremely non-effective. The numerical solution gives in that case very large cross velocity dispersion in an electronic beam. In addition, there are two problems connected to quality of magnetic field. First, thermostabilization is required for NdFeB or SmCo material. Secondly, high homogeneity of magnetic field is necessary in the interaction region. The infringement of these conditions results in reduction of device efficiency.
