Abstract :
In current active security control systems used for automobile, the most important technology is the method to gather and process these control variants, among which wheel speed signal is the most critical. Wheel speed is an essential quantity to sense vehicle driving state for active safety systems. The quality of wheel speed directly influences control performance of these systems. In this paper, a new method for wheel speed signal gathering and processing is introduced, and tested in MATLAB simulink. And based on this, vehicle road test is also carried out, results of which show that this method for wheel speed computing has an ideal performance at real time, and its accuracy satisfies the requirements of active safety systems well.
