Abstract
Different color artifacts introduced by DCT based engines, like standard JPEG compression, have been studied in last years. Among them, blocking and ringing distortions have been deeply investigated. On the other side, other kinds of distortions, like chromatic color bleeding effects, only recently received proper attention. The goal of this paper is to propose an innovative adaptive algorithm to overcome this kind of color artifacts.
