Abstract :
The fore-expansion tube structure of the three-way catalyst converter shell used in a certain light-duty vehicle is improved, three improved schemes are proposed. For the flow field in the catalyst, its mathematical model is established, its numerical value is simulated by using the computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT, and then the distribution law of the velocity and the pressure on the carrier front end face under different structural parameters is obtained. It says that the short-long model is a desirable improved scheme by contrasting and analyzing the result.
