Title :
Comparison of uncertainty approaches to system failure probability
Author :

Abstract :
It is important to identify the uncertainty in the PRA study. The various approaches to analyze the uncertainty had been developed since the WASH-1400 study. In this paper three approaches, that is, the Monte Carlo method, the discrete probability distribution method, and the latin hypercube sampling method, are applied to analyze the distribution of a system failure probability and a release category frequency. The results analyzed by various codes are compared and discussed
