Abstract
Summary form only given. The applications of independent microwave and ultra-violet radiation and ozone treatment for erasure of microbe flora are known. The results of the development of a combined microwave and ultra-violet irradiation and ozone treatment installation of a new type are presented. In this installation ultra-violet radiation is generated by electrodeless lamp with microwave excitation of electrodeless discharge. The ozone is produced by UV-irradiation. The module of the irradiation unit consists of a continuous operation mode magnetron (2450 MHz, 850 W), a coaxial microwave adapter, interchangeable electrodeless Ar-Hg lamps of original design placed in the working chamber which is the multi-mode microwave resonator. The UV and microwave transparent quartz serpentine is placed in this chamber for treatment of medical solutions and other flowing liquids. A rotating table for installation irradiated objects (medical instruments, materials, vessels with different agents) is also placed in the working chamber.
