Abstract :
The study looks at using the concepts of semivariogram analysis and kriging estimation to develop strategies for corrosion rate estimation in steel plating. This involves determining the number and location of thickness measurements to be taken so that a desired level of confidence is achieved in the estimation of the corrosion rate
