Abstract :
This article discusses the application of non-stable in contemporary environmental art design from the perspective of Gestalt aesthetics. Gestalt aesthetics has a unique interpretation about the aesthetic effect of ¿non-stable form¿. Experiments show that, in the face of a simple form, people will feel very comfortable and calm, they will not block the perception activities, and they will not create any tension and other bad feelings. We call such form is ¿beautiful¿ or ¿stable ¿forms, at the same time, those non-symmetrical, tilted, irregular forms will lead people to psychological tension and a feeling of excitement, we generally call such irregular and disorderly forms the ¿ugly¿ or ¿non-stable¿ forms. However, the fun in this - first aroused the attention and tension, followed by its active organizations, and finally the organizations activities to be completed and early tensions disappear. The experience of this course is no longer a straight dull, it is ups and downs. Gestalt aesthetics can help us understand the use of non-stable form in environmental art design the perspective of theoretical level, and guide our design practice.
