Abstract
The dispersion of the hybrid modes in the broadside-coupled coplanar waveguide (CPW) is studied using the full-wave spectral-domain method. Over the dominant-mode frequency range, the dispersion is low. The analysis and investigation are useful for the determinations of the dominant-mode operation and the overmoding characteristics in microwave and millimeter-wave broadside-coupled CPW circuits.
