Abstract :
A threshold for binary processing of a digital color plane image can be determined by a means of integrating a minimum threshold value with a Laplace histogram, which has, as an example, carried on a confirmation for processing a digital color plane image of a conveying stone to be crushed under monitoring. Results indicate that this computational method is of operating easy, saving computing time and without transforming a color image to gradation one for a threshold processing. It can be used in a selection of threshold and an automatic selection of a segmenting threshold for a digital color plane image.
