Abstract :
This study is aim to explore the relationship between network competence and new ventures performance through theoretical and empirical tests. We carry out empirical research on 219 new ventures in Chinese regions. As the result shown, network competence can be divided into four dimensions, that is, social qualification, relation-specific task execution, specialist qualification and cross-relational task execution; Network competence has positive impact on new ventures performance; Qualification and task execution, respectively, have positive impact on new ventures performance. This study enriches and complements the research on network competence in Chinese context.
