Abstract :
GPS - Radio Occultation is a remote sensing technique aim to characterize some atmospheric parameters. It is based on the analysis of the time evolution measurable on the GPS signal received on-board a Low Earth Orbit satellite. Result of analysis is the atmospheric refractivity profile which, in turn, can be used to characterize temperature, pressure and humidity profiles. This paper present the ROSA-ROSSA software (ROSA-Research and Operational Satellite and Software Activities) and a new approach for the Radio Occultation data processing by using Grid Computing technique.
