Abstract :
Computation of the trigonometric values is an important operation in modern engineering technology. At present, most algorithms can only find out a small range of angles trigonometric values. In this paper, multiple angle algorithm which is able to solve the values of trigonometric functions of arbitrary angle is improved on the basis of theoretical analysis and experiment, and get the optimized algorithm named fast multiple angle algorithm, which is successful in the large angle range of sine, cosine function calculation. Compared with the CORDIC algorithm, fast multiple angle algorithm improves the computing speed and accuracy, which is beneficial for hardware implementation.
