Abstract :
In order to communicate successfully for mobile stations in signal dead zone, this paper presents an uplink system with two-stage automatic gain control (AGC) circuit for WCDMA frequency selective repeater. Furthermore, the algorithm of AGC is analyzed. Agilent advanced design system (ADS) is used as a simulation tool to discuss the performance. The results show that the presented system is performed well, which has the characteristic of large pass band gain, high adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR) and steady controllable output. Therefore, this repeater system is suitable to solve the problem of the dead zone in WCDMA communication.
