Abstract
Seismo-acoustic interface waves have been recorded with a bottom deployed hydrophone array at three different locations. A high resolution array processing technique (Prony) has been used to estimate the dispersion characteristics of the recorded seismo-acoustic interface waves. A model based linear inversion scheme has been used to obtain estimates of the shear wave velocity as a function of depth. The data collection, processing and interpretation are intended used in conjunction with standard refraction seismic surveying. This paper discusses survey design as well as it show results obtained from field data
