This paper focuses on the combination between the development of arts and crafts and the characteristics of the history and culture during Tang and Song Dynasties, Tang Dynasty is exoteric, and its industrial arts, which is free, comely and magnificent, resulted in its syncretic culture. While Song Dynasty is rational, its introverted culture leads to the industrial arts that is implicative and full of elegance. The research on the influences that cultures have on the development of arts and crafts and seeking for the interior embodiment of the culture during Tang and Song Dynasty in the development of the arts and crafts will be a revelatory help for us to create the best productions that possesses the characteristics of both times as well as our nations.
