Abstract :
Resource management is one of the most important aspects in 3G network as it controls the system capacity. With the aim of giving the maximum benefit to users, intelligent agents have been introduced to give a more flexible resource management system. Within this work, case-based reasoning is proposed as the method by which the agent monitors and recognises the congestion pattern as it occurs and determines the best policy in order to maintain the system quality of service according to the service level agreement.
