Abstract
During the whole AMADEUS project we have performed several theoretic studies and practical trials in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the developed systems, and we found that the interface in Phase I could be used to manoeuvre the robotics gripper in a sufficiently reliable way. The Phase II interface is only in the first development and trials period, but first tests have shown its effectiveness and reliability in dealing with the improved complexity of the robotics tools to be manipulated, above all due to its improved ergonomic features. Such results are arising good hopes of having the same structure adopted for more complex human-computer interaction tasks in the near future
