  • Abstract
Our recent work focuses on the study of dibenzoterrylene (DBT) molecules in anthracene films both at room and at low temperatures. This system serves as an ultra-stable single photon source around 785 nm at room temperature and delivers lifetime-limited emission at 1.4 K. Interestingly, by the choice of the emitter host, we are able to align the molecules dipole parallel to the field in the cavity mode. This orientation is highly desirable for coupling the molecular dipole moment to the electromagnetic far field, e.g. in a planar cavity.
