Abstract :
Many data acquisition systems and video cameras are available on research vessels such as the new THALASSA which has recently been included in the IFREMER oceanographic fleet. In the past, it was often difficult for the navigation crew or the scientists to obtain information from different data acquisition systems or video cameras simultaneously. SDIV (“Systeme de Diffusion d´Informations et de Videos”) is a complete and powerful tool that provides scientific information and video monitoring. This tool is very helpful on research vessels and fills the gap between data acquisition systems and end users
