Abstract :
The paper is devoted to ship navigation automation, i.e. the drawing of optimal paths for ships passing in restricted water in busy shipping lanes. The results received may be applied as the procedure part of a knowledge-based system of ships passing automation and can be applied on ships, in simulators and in automated land radar systems to control ships passing in approaching a port, leaving it, in narrow passages, etc
